Teofimo Lopez returns to the ring August 13th!

It’s hard to believe Teofimo Lopez is just 24 years old. With everything that he has accomplished already, a knockout artist that did the thing some called impossible. He challenged and the defeated the Lightweight Champion Vasily Lomachenko. Teofimo was on top of the world but everything came crashing down when Teofimo Lopez lost to mandatory challenger George Kambosos Jr on November 27th, 2021. It was an unexpected defeat that few saw coming. It was later revealed that Lopez fought with air in his chest and was lucky to be alive. With his sight set on a fresh start Teofimo Lopez has moved up to the Jr. Welterweight division and is set to make his debut August 14th at the Resorts World Las Vegas against Pedro Campa. The 30 year old Campa has a record of 34-1-1 (23) with no noteworthy victories on his resume. This is obviously a tune up level fight designed to show case Teofimo Lopez who is 16-1 (12). If all the social postings are reality then Lopez appears refreshed and ready to takeover another division, will Teofimo be Champion at 140?
